Our founder and president is Brad Jones. Brad has a B.S. degree in Broadcasting from the University of Florida. In 1975, Brad began his profession in the radio production business as a salesman/engineer for the Protestant Radio and Television Center, in Atlanta. From PRTVC Brad was hired by Doppler Studios and quickly rose to the top of the ranks, all the while recording and engineering jingles, radio spots, and soundtracks for TV. One of his favorite productions was when he worked on the music for the hit TV series "WKRP in Cincinnati". In 1982 Brad opened a 32-track music studio in an old Atlanta movie theatre. Local bands, musicians, songwriters, and record labels all recorded their projects at JBS studios. In 1988 Brad joined forces with Catspaw Productions, a creative service group for broadcast promotions, as a partner and studio manager. After helping to take Catspaw to a multi-million dollar a year business in five short years, Brad started selling DAWs for Studer/Dyaxis. It was during this time that he became an owner of ProComm Studios in Asheville, North Carolina. Once again, Brad lead ProComm from a small 5-man operation to a multi-million dollar a year seventeen employee six control room facility all in less than five years. In 1999 Brad seized the opportunity to help other audio post houses grow, and he began Studio Consulting Group.
